Cabela’s Carnivore ¾ Hp Commercial-Grade Meat Grinder
The opportunity to eat wild is one of the many blessings that comes with living in Alaska. My family is lucky enough to only eat meat we take from the sea and mountains. I grew up using an ancient hand-grinder that took at least two viewings of the movie The Last of the Mohicans to grind 20 or so pounds of burger; I can remember every line of that movie. I went through a few electric grinders that didn’t last long before I discovered Cabela’s Carnivore. The first deer I ground into burger went so easily and quickly that I couldn’t believe my eyes. The end result made perfect burgers. Built to last and easy to use and clean, the Carnivore makes quick work of meat even with tendons and sinew attached. It comes with all the accessories you’ll need to make sausage, too. With mere minutes of work, the Carnivore will provide you with a winter store and a one-way ticket to yum town.
The only issue I have with the Carnivore is its popularity during hunting season. Suddenly everyone calls me up and asks if they can come over and grind. Last season, my Carnivore ground three moose and at least a half dozen deer and helped feed six families. I love this grinder and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Rather than buying and breaking several lesser quality grinders, save yourself the hassle and
get a Carnivore.
