Description: Like any fine hotel, we fly the State Flag and the U.S. Flag out front of our fine hotel - the flag on the left being specially significant as it only has 49 stars on it - the time being just a couple of months apart in 1959 between the time Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the Union - Cottonwood Inn still standing after 57 years
