Description: Taken at Brooks Falls in Katmai, this grizzly illustrates one of the five salmon fishing styles displayed by the grizzlies-the pounce. They see the salmon and chase it. This takes intense concentration and honed pursuit skills, and by the look on this grizzly's face, he means business! Just having the honor of being able to observe these magnificent creatures in the wild is indescribably humbling.
