Alaska magazine Photo Contest

Description: We were photographing a group of male Alaskan Coastal Brown Bears feasting on a carcass of a whale that had washed ashore, when to my delight, along came a wolf in hopes of getting enough of a meal to fill her stomach. The eight or so bears were so content filling their own bellies that they didn't seem to mind the wolf sharing in the bounty. It was truly a magical experience to witness this, let alone photograph.
