Description: This Brown bear was walking directly toward us along a plane's tire track on the Cook Inlet beach. He had been eating sedge in the meadow and took a trip to possible clam digging along the shore. We huddled as a group of 10 and he detoured around us with about 30 feet of space. We never really felt threatened, but it raised our heart rate!
