Description: Photo captured of myself 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle at Iniakuk Lake. This shot required many attempts running back and forth to get it right. At first I was back lit by three tea lights which were decreased to two, then one, due to overexposures. Then I realized I looked like a blob with all my winter gear on so I stripped down several times until I resembled a human. Finally the smoke had to be blowing just right. In previous shots it was interfering with the aurora creating a hazy sky.
