Description: My mother and I saw this squirrel while walking near the Savage river in Denali National Park. It appeared to be having a moment of contemplation, upon closer look perhaps it was pausing before going off to store its newly collected food. Of all the Arctic ground squirrels I had never seen one with loaded cheeks, it was a nice moment with the squirrel and my mother.
