Description: This photo is a picture of a Mother Coastal Brown Bear looking for food for her three new cubs. Alaska is home to the majority of coastal brown bears, one of the most recognizable bears in the world. Unlike most bears, their diet consists of mainly fish, salmon to be more exact. Bears are a huge symbol of Alaska, you can even see a bear on the Alaskan flag, Ursa Major that points towards the North Star, representing the bright future for Alaska. You could even say this mama bear is pointing towards a bright future, not only for her and her cubs but Alaska as well.
