Description: An April geomagnetic produced some stellar auroras. It was one of those nights where you couldn't go wrong with wherever you went but it was also one of those nights where indecision can abound. For photographers a good Lights show and great locations nearby is like a kid allowed to pick out any toy in a store full of great toys. We took a a quick side trip down Smith Road in Palmer as the aurora was building over Matanuska Peak. Can't recall the name of the side street we pulled off on but it has a splendid view of Pioneer Peak. And this show busted loose out of nowhere!
