Description: Hatcher Pass is Alaska's playground all year-round. I was up in the Pass one sunny winter weekend to photograph the mountains, when I noticed a group of skiers hiking one mountainside before making their quick, thrilling descent. The four backcountry skiers are tiny specks against the sky, highlighting the massive size of their surroundings in a minimalist style.
