Description: After driving this route 8 times to/from Seward, Mt. Drum had always seemed to elude me. At sunset on the previous night, the mountain was shrouded in clouds, but I was feeling hopeful. I decided to car camp on the side of the road, crossing my fingers and toes for a good sunrise, and what a great decision that was. The sky started with this pastel pink hue before morphing into a brilliant orange. (I have verticals of this as well)
