Description: Shot this photo at the gorgeous Borealis Basecamp in Fairbanks. We were given a beautifully clear night the first night there. It was mine and my family's first time experiencing the Northern Lights and it was magical! The aurora lasted long enough for me to be able to run to each of my family member's igloos to capture photos of them with the lights. While on my way back to mine and my husband's igloo, his cousin yelled "Casey look at it from here!" I turned around and was just awestruck! The view of the lights with the igloo, moon, and hill was just mesmerizing to me! Forever thankful his cousin made me turn around!
