Description: Late one clear night in Wiseman, Alaska, we decided to drive the 100 miles up to the Chandalar Shelf in the Brooks Range. It didn't disappoint as the aurora came out in its full glory. Despite -10 F temps, our fingers were kept warm by the constant clicking of the shutters on our cameras.
