Description: Just after sunrise on the tidal flats of Lake Clark National Park, a young brown bear cub stepped into the quiet morning light. Moving slowly across the wet sand, it searched for clams beneath the surface, each step a lesson in survival. I photographed from a very low angle, capturing the cub at eye level against the soft, overcast sky. The diffused light revealed the texture of its damp fur and created an intimate atmosphere. Though still young, the bear showed a determined focus, embodying both vulnerability and resilience. In this fleeting moment, innocence and purpose came together, offering a glimpse into the delicate balance of life in the wild.
